About the Church

Rose of Sharon Church has been started as Saturday prayer and fasting at Pastor Peter Paul’s residence 128 Parklane Place, Macon, Georgia in February 1997. Day by day the prayer group begun to grow and the people have felt that Saturday meeting as they attended Sunday church service. Then the Saturday fasting prayer became Sunday worship service. It has been difficult for the members and visitors, as we have had to worship the Lord tightly packed in the living room of Pastor Paul’s home. After many months of prayer one day the Lord Jesus spoke to Pastor Paul “how long you want to sit here and pray for the land?” why don’t you go and look for the land wherever your foot tread upon I will give you the land.

Same day pastor Paul went to look for the land and found 7.28 acres land with the house in a prime location. In three weeks time the Lord blessed with this land. In July 2001 one early in the morning after pastor Paul and his wife Jasmine early morning prayer pastor Paul was in the living room sitting in a couch with closed eyes and thinking about how to build the church, Jesus walked by his side and sat with him and promised that when he start the church building he will be faithful and to supply all the money that cost to build. So pastor Paul by faith signed the contract with the local builder to construct the church building.

Rose of Sharon Church building project was started with ‘O’ zero bank balance. God is faithful as He said to pastor Paul. Now the building had been completed and worshiping God in a new facility. All glory and praises to Him forever and ever.
